Our story
When I was younger, I spent 8 summers working at a local amusement park. I started in kiddie rides, graduated to a custom dark ride, and then spent the final couple years in administration.
I've also spent 30 years making films. Starting when I was 7 until now, I've been passionate about telling stories through film and video.
Now it is time for me to squash that experience together. I have written an 11-episode season of a web series called Poseidon's Gate.
I've taken the knowledge I learned through my experience at the park as well as picking the brains of my good friends who own it to build this comedy series which highlights the comedy and drama associated with running a small theme park.
Back in 2016, I produced a Proof of Concept for my idea with a budget of $0. I gathered some friends and said "If you come spend a day filming with me, I'll buy you Pizza." These absolute saints agreed to help me out.
Since then, I've learned a lot about writing, I've learned a lot about directing, and I've put together what I am confident will be an entertaining series.
I'm asking for money so that I may give something back to the people who show up on set every day this time around.

I estimate that I can produce each episode at a cost of about $5,000. To produce all 11 epsiodes in the season, I'm hoping to raise a total of $55,000. Literally every cent helps. This money will go toward things such as (in order of priority):
